Dilled Baked Salmon Steaks

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon very finely minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • lemon wedges

PREPARATION:

Place salmon steaks in a buttered baking dish. Combine lemon juice and onion; sprinkle a little over each salmon steak. Season with salt and pepper. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
 
Remove from oven; spread sour cream over salmon steaks. Sprinkle with lemon zest and dill. Return to the oven for 3 minutes.
Serve salmon steaks with lemon wedges.
